Founded in 1969 by, SNAPIR Diving Equipment Ltd. is one of the first and pioneering importers of SCUBA diving equipment into Israel. The company began as a small shop in southern Tel Aviv alongside the legendary “SNAPIR” diving school at Jaffa Port. Over decades of growth and expansion, the company evolved into SNAPIR Monitin Diving (2000) Ltd.

Present Day: Exclusive Import, Wholesale & Retail Commerce
Today, SNAPIR serves as the official and exclusive importer in Israel for premier recreational and technical diving brands, including Scubapro, Halcyon, Xdeep, SANTI, and Sea Life. The company specializes in the marketing of professional-grade gear, offering expert personal consultation and high-standard maintenance services for breathing systems and technical equipment.

2008: The Digital Shift
In 2008, adapting to the rise of online retail, SNAPIR transitioned its marketing strategy by closing its physical storefront and focusing on e-commerce. This move allowed the company to offer specialized equipment at particularly attractive prices through its digital platform while maintaining its professional standards.
